Bush Administration officials should stop criticizing people who disagree with them as “less than patriotic.” That attitude helped get them into the trouble they are in.

While many Republicans want to give their president “one last shot” at a military solution, there is pervasive pessimism about the new strategy.

The President’s approval ratings are at their lowest point in the poll’s history, 30%, and more than half the country (58%) say they wish the Bush presidency were simply over.
